SteamDry Restore provides:

COMMON “PIPE BREAK” SITUATIONS

• Frozen pipe burst (common in Wisconsin winters)
• Supply line leak (toilets, sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators)
• Water heater failure or leaking tank
• Radiator/boiler line leak (where applicable)
• Ceiling leak from an upstairs unit or mechanical room
• Sprinkler line leak (commercial / multi-unit)
• Hidden pipe leak behind drywall or under flooring

If a plumber is repairing the source of the leak, we will coordinate drying and documentation while the repair is being finished.

WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY

If it’s safe:

• Shut off the water (main shutoff or fixture shutoff)
• If water is near outlets or fixtures, avoid the area and shut off power to affected zones if needed
• Move valuables and electronics out of affected rooms
• For multi-unit properties: identify units above/below/adjacent and notify management

• A burst pipe doesn’t just soak what you can see. Water can move into:
• Baseboards and wall cavities
• Insulated walls
• Subfloor systems and underlayment
• Carpet padding and tack strips
• Ceilings below the leak
